How to Prepare:
- For Pongal:
- In a pan, dry roast 1 cup of Pongal Mix for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
- Add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
- Lower the heat and cook until the water is absorbed and the rice and dal are soft.
- In a separate pan, heat some ghee and temper with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, and cashews. Add curry leaves and pour this tempering over the cooked Pongal.
